Moderate start, settled behind midfield 3-wide, widest runner in midfield turning for home, quickened well to hit the front just inside the 100 metres only to be pipped at post.
3着THUNDERSTROKE　　W M Lai　　(B2)

Driven to lead before joined by eventual last on the bend, re-gained 1L advantage early in straight when fellow joint leader dropped away, swamped under pressure inside final 100 metres.

Settled at the back from the widest gate, commenced run out wide rounding home bend, sustained good progress near the centre of the straight to be closest at finish.

Jumped best, pushed along before settling just off the pace mainly in 5th on rails, kept on at the one pace under pressure in the run home.
