Eased out to sit handy. No luck early in the straight, but found a tight gap to squeeze through at 300m. Let down in the last 200m to win well.
2着CHARITY KINGDOM　　Y T Cheng　　(XB)

Sat midfield, two and three off the fence. Tracked wide on turn. Made a move 250m out and let down strongly, but winner had it wrapped up.
3着CHEEKY TOO　　N Rawiller　　(H-/XB-)

Crowded on jumping, and eventually found a position midfield one off the fence. Pushed hard in straight, but wobbling late and had to share 3rd.
3着SECRET WEAPON　　D Whyte　　(TT-)

Crowded on jumping, and happy to settle back worse than midfield two off the fence. Came widest on turn, and let down well. Had claims to third late, but had to share the place.
5着BIG FOUR　　Z Purton　　(H)

Sat at the back of the pack after drawing wide, and was on heels near the first turn. Held the rail until turn, and was off heels again at 200m and ran on gamely from there.
6着JAEGER BOMB　　C Y Ho

Drifted across from the wide draw to sit near last on the rail. Held up at the top of the straight when looking for a run. Ran on fairly without threatening a place.
7着MASQUERADER　　H W Lai　　(TT)

Looked to push forward early, but had to settle for midfield on the rail. Scraping paint down the straight, and improved into a tight gap 200m, but only ran on fairly.
8着SUPREME FLIGHT　　H N Wong　　(B/TT)

Pushed forward from widest gate to lead and set decent tempo. Plugged away in the straight, but a beaten horse by 150m and faded.
9着LANSBURY　　B Prebble

Crowded on jumping and eventually settled worse than midfield, one off the fence. Came wide on turn, and asked for something in the last furlong, but only ran on fairly.
10着WAH MAY BABY　　K C Ng　　(CP/TT)

Pushed to sit behind leader early. Asked for something 300 out, but couldn't kick and faded back.
11着SHINING CHAMPION　　K Teetan　　(B)

Began OK from the 1 barrier to sit handy on the fence. Was in the gun position on the turn and asked the question from the 250m, but had nothing to give, and eased out late.
12着PRESIDENTPARAMOUNT　　M L Yeung　　(H)

Pushed forward from a wide draw to sit handy, but was 3 and 4 wide the trip facing the breeze. Looked a tired horse by the 200m and ran on like one.
13着ARCHIPPUS　　K C Leung　　(B/H)

Pushed forward early, and then eased slightly to take a sit behind the leaders. Bumped and unbalanced at 300m but under pressure a long way out, and never finished off. Unacceptable performance and to trial.
14着WIRE TO WIRE　　T H So

Drifted back to share back marker duties. Under pressure a long way out, and race was effectively over by the 300m.
