Began well from draw 1 to race handily, travelled smoothly behind leaders turning home, quickened well when guided to clear 250M, led 150M and look set to score only to be caught by fast finishing winner late.

Settled 2Ls behind leader in a compact field and well covered throughout, ideally placed to strike 400M, kept on steadily for 3rd.

Held up behind midfield but never far off, saved ground on the inside, made stealthy progress and just missed out on 3rd.
