Soon taken back to race in last few, commenced move along rails rounding home bend, snuck up on inside turning for home, sustained effort to gain upper hand inside final 50 metres.

Settled in rear of midfield, made forward move going up the Rock, disputed second into straight, hit the front over 200 metres out, caught close home.
3着MASTER DRAGON　　G Cheyne　　(B/TT)

Began with others, settled in 5th just better than midfield, switched off rails for a run turning in, fought on steadily to be nearest at finish.

Began with others, soon settled in rear of midfield, hampered and lost position approaching the Rock, behind midfield turning into straight, fought on under pressure to be nearest at finish.

Began with others, gradually settled in midfield on rails, went wide into straight, made moderate progress without threatening.
6着RAY'S FAVOURITE　　P Strydom　　(B)

Settled in midfield, widest runner turning in, ran home steadily without quickening.

Began awkwardly but quickly raced to the front, led until headed approaching 1000 metre bend, remained in 2nd about 3Ls back most of far side, hit front momentarily 200 metres out only to be overhauled closing stages.

Began well, soon found cover to settle just off the speed on rails in third and then fourth on home bend, in similar position turning in, one-paced before fading inside passing 150 metres.

Soon prominent, took up running rounding stables bend going nearly three lengths clear far side, came back to the main field around home bend, soon swamped under pressure after straightening.
