Travelled nicely in a rail position ahead of midfield, moved out near 400M in search of room, awkwardly placed from 300-200M, got going again 150M from home, surged late to get up close home.
2着SUPER GENKI　　M Chadwick　　(B/TT)

Slow to muster and raced as the back-marker about 8Ls off the pace, finished off strongly but not matched winner's pace final 100M.
3着SCENT OF OSMANTHUS　　C K Tong　　(V-)

In touch, responded well once in line for home, briefly led from 150M, caught late.
4着PEPPERMINT　　W C Marwing

Restrained to a 2-wide position towards the tail of the field, travelled strongly to straight but had not much room until 200M, finished fastest of all and should have been closer.
5着BIG WINNER AGAIN　　G Cheyne　　(V/TT)

Taken back to the rear and was 7-8Ls behind leaders in middle stages, shifted to the outside of straight turning in and stayed on from off the pace.

Awkwardly away, was well covered behind midfield, shifted out to clear 350M, ran on fairly and inclined to hang in throughout the straight.

Settled towards the rear after beginning slowly, kept to inside throughout, made some progress from off the pace but not getting to the leaders.

Chased the lead, kept on to 150M then weakened.

Sped off and crossed to the lead just before the turn, faltered inside 200M, no extra late stages.

On the outside of the pair chasing the pace, had to be driven along inside 600M, weakened on straightening and soon out of contention.
