1着BEAUTY FLASH　　M Chadwick　　(TT)

Bounced out with rest, urged to hold leaders back, had good trial despite solid sections, into clear on turning, went to them easily but had to dig in to repell late challenger. Cosy at post.
2着KINGS FALCON　　D Whyte　　(XB/H)

Average jump, faded back from a wide alley, raced 5Ls or so back in running line, in rear division to bend, took gap between horses and closed soundly from rear, well clear of 3rd.
3着IRISH JIG　　J Winks　　(TT)

Out in line, angled into running line in midfield 4Ls or so away, back in traffic before run emerged at 300 M, kept chasing but not able to make ground on first two last furlong.
4着ROMPING　　J Victoire　　(B)

Positive from outset, box seated 1 out 1 back, close to genuine tempo throughout, near enough on bend, didn't pick up but instead held ground evenly late.
5着OPERATION SECRET　　Z Purton　　(SW)

No early speed, ended up 5 to 6Ls back amongst last few, saved ground throughout, stuck to inside from 400 M, kept closing gradually to be not far away and just missed frame.
6着VITAL FLYER　　K C Leung

Fastest out, led easily, kept rolling setting genuine sections, held a 1L margin turning, under pressure at 300 M, couldn't respond after early work and faded late.
7着WHITE JADE　　Y T Cheng　　(SW/XB/H)

Slow away, ended up 3 wide with cover in midfield, used a bit with even speed, didn't have an extra gear but instead held position in run to line.
8着HORACE'S CHOICE　　C K Tong　　(B/H/TT)

Moderate jump, drifted back to race 3 wide at rear, 5 to 6Ls back, always at rear to bend, made some minor ground without threatening.
9着GALLANT LION　　M L Yeung　　(H)

Standard jump, pushed into a slightly closer role than usual 3 to 4Ls back, midfield on rails throughout, lacked trademark finish and just battled last 200 M.
10着OUR LUCKY BABY　　T H So　　(SW/TT)

Broke well, pushed on to race outside leader, did some work with solid sections, didn't see out trip and faded from 300 M.
11着SKYVIEW BAR　　H W Lai　　(B/TT)

Jumped nicely, unable to slot in and posted 3 wide without cover, used plenty but still only 3Ls down to bend, couldn't pick up and weakened out.
12着DREAM TEAM　　B Prebble　　(TT)

Fair to jump, trapped 3 and 4 wide without cover 2 to 3Ls away, worked too hard in run, no extra final 300 M and dropped out.
13着RIVER JORDAN　　C W Wong

Out in line, 4 wide with cover 4 to 5Ls away in midfield, set a significant task throughout, faded as expected.
14着TERRIFIC BRETHREN　　K L Chui　　(TT)

Ordinary jump and soon became well detached, never really travelled and took little part. To trial.
