Sent on from widest gate to flank pacesetter in 2nd through to final furlong, clawed his way to the front inside final 50 M, gamely.
2着MY WHISKY　　Y T Cheng　　(TT1)

Soon led on the fence, no more than half a length clear from 1000 M to final 200 M, overhauled by the winner inside final 50 M.
3着SKY WALKER　　B Doyle

Soft trail on the leader's back on rails in 3rd or 4th before straightening for home, never likely to challenge quinella pair and all out to get 3rd.
4着KEEP ME　　H W Lai　　(B)

Nicely placed in 'one-out-one-back' spot in 5th or so and 2Ls until last bend, bumped 350 M out, had his chance to get 3rd, subsequent objection dismissed.
5着MAGNANIMOUS　　W C Marwing　　(SW-/H1)

Raced 6th out 3-wide but with cover about 3Ls from pace at halfway, one-paced and unthreatening to the principals in the straight.

3-back the rails in midfield about 4Ls or so from the speed through to the last turn, never likely to draw a great deal closer.

Quietly ridden one from rear and 6Ls off speed at the 1000 M, much the same turning for home, ran on past a few spent forces to wind up.

Checked early back to about 6Ls off pace on the fence, same margin back and rearward off last bend, recovered only very minor late ground.

Checked at the 1200 M and never any better than midfield, pressured and 7Ls adrift off last turn, never on terms. (Questioned for poor performance.)

Always worse than midfield at least 5Ls from the pace, widest of all spinning for home, didn't offer much in the wrap-up.

Midfield about 3Ls off speed down the back, lost his position on the circle and very weak in the home straight. (Questioned for poor performance.)

2-wide around midfield 3Ls from initial tempo, further back and outpaced at top of home straight, no impression.

3-wide no cover for the duration, close-up in 3rd at halfway, began to fall out of touch on the circle, left further behind in the straight.

Slowest away, always detached at the tail of the field at least 8Ls from the speed, hard to enthuse about.
