Better than midfield just over 2Ls behind lead until final turn, led at the 200 M but grabbed by the winner on the line.

Box-seated in 4th about 2Ls off speed down the back, 1L back in 2nd into home straight and led from 300 M to 200 M, held onto a place.

Awkward break, rearward about 5Ls back initially, 4Ls back turning for home, 2Ls down with place prospects at the 200 M, couldn't sustain.

Taken back from a wide gate and 7Ls last at first, 5Ls down turning in, made some fair late ground down the centre, never nearer.
