Taken up the lead under a positive ride, given a breather approaching home turn, kept on strongly and turned round his recent form to win a convincing manner.
2着COUNTRY MAGIC　　K L Chui　　(TT)

Tracked leader in a one out one back position, ridden out near 400 M, unable to make up ground on the leader, but stuck to task well when challenged from both sides to hold on for 2nd in a close finish.
3着INVINCIBLEKINDNESS　　D Whyte

Raced keenly in the early stages, travelled in a 2-wide position with cover, stayed on well inside 200 M despite hanging out. Promising debut.
4着FINN MACCOOL　　B Prebble

Taken back to a rearward position on jumping from the wide barrier, difficult to settle in early stages, had 5Ls to make up turning in, held up briefly near 300 M before closing off the race strongly. Unlucky not to finish 2nd.
5着MY TIME　　C W Wong

In a handy position along the fence one back from leader, had a smooth run to bend, held every chance but was unable to peg back the runaway leader. Narrowly lost out in a photo finish involving horses placed 2nd to 5th.
6着MUTUAL FUN　　D Beadman　　(SR)

Broke well, drifted back to a 2-wide position behind midfield, 4Ls down turning in, ran on evenly to the line.
7着BABY WAVE　　K M Chin

Purposely taken back to a rear position, checked near 1000 M, enjoyed a better run on the turn, made some progress on straightening but run peaked 100 M from home.
8着SOHNA　　W M Lai　　(B)

Caught wide early, switched off to race in the rear passing 1000 M, 6Ls down coming off the bend, switched wide for a run but ran on only fairly.
9着ELITE FORTUNE　　B Doyle

Slow to begin, taken to the fence and raced in a midfield spot 3Ls off the pace, kept to inside on straightening but ran home very once paced.
10着VIVA FIGHTER　　C K Tong　　(B/TT)

Away well enough, in mid-division early, involved and hampered in a shoving match before the bend, 3-wide turning in, switched wider in straight but failed to make any impression.
11着RED RULER　　J Winks　　(V/TT)

Began awkwardly, assumed a position in midfield, pushed out near 1000 M to be widest making the home turn, soon under pressure inside 400 M and got tired towards the line.
12着OUR PEGASUS　　G Mosse

Reasonable jump, never far off the pace but was 3-wide without cover, found nothing turning for home, gave ground from 300 M.
