3-wide with cover in midfield about 4Ls from early pace, 3Ls off front spinning for home, briefly held up at 200 M, got up inside final strides.
2着MEGA BULLET　　M Du Plessis　　(B)

Restrained in 11th initially, headway on the circle to go 2Ls back in 3rd, led 200 M out, stayed on well but grabbed by winner inside final two bounds.
3着NASA PEARL　　K C Leung

One from rear 8Ls behind leader at 1000 M, steady improvement to be 4Ls back in mid-division at top of home straight, stayed on well to get 3rd on line.
4着KING OF SHAVER　　B Prebble　　(B)

2-wide and 1L back in 2nd at halfway, led about 500 M out but headed at the 200 M and missed out on a place in the final few metres.

5-back on the rails about 6Ls from the pace early on, further back in rear off last turn, made good late headway on outside and just missed a place. (Questioned.)

2Ls back in 3rd on fence at the 800 M when a bit keen, hampered before the home turn and soon struggling, eased some way from the line.

Crossed from widest gate to lead by 1L at 1400 M, headed 500 M out and beaten before the straight, later found with irregular heartbeat and distressed. (Lame next day.)
