Out in line, pressed on to take closer order, raced 3 wide outside leader without cover, levelled up to leaders on turning, gradually overhauled them and maintained a narrow margin in run to line.
2着FERRO BEAU　　C K Tong

Standard jump, ended up racing behind midfield 4 to 5Ls back on rails, didn't use a lot to bend, angled wide on turning, steadied at 300 M, dashed sharply from 200 M to just miss.
3着ENCHANTED　　O Doleuze　　(SR-/TT1)

Began well, took a more prominent role behind leader, had reasonable run once pace slackened, still right there turning, took a run at 200 M and made good ground late to take place.
4着MASCOT FORTUNE　　G Mosse　　(XB)

Jumped nicely but forced to restrain to get cover from an awkward draw, raced 3 to 4Ls back 3 wide with cover, improved 4 wide on bend, made solid progress in straight to make frame.
5着GILDED FLIGHT　　K T Yeung

No early pace and was taken back from a wide gate, ended up 3 wide at rear 6Ls from top end, not helped when pace backed off on circle, made many lengths from rear in straight to finish a strong 5th.
6着EIGHT PLUS NINE　　B Prebble　　(SW)

Began well, took up ideal spot 1 out 1 back 2Ls away tracked well on bend, angled into clear at 400 M, got to within a length but just closed at the same pace thereafter.
7着MASTER CRISTO　　M Nunes

Had pace from outset, worked across to race outside lead helped set a fast early section before backing off on bend, matched rivals to 200 M but couldn't find extra at business end.
8着WINBO　　D Whyte

Allowed to drift back from a wide gate, ended up 5Ls back, raced 3 wide with cover throghout, tracked into race on bend, made solid ground from impossible spot to be nearest on line.
9着FAIR WIN　　M Du Plessis　　(B)

No pace from jump, regathered to settle on rails 3 to 4Ls off lead, had an easy time in middle stages, held up from 400 M to 200 M, closed evenly when run presented.
10着MARIACHI　　G Boss　　(SR/TT)

Out in line, positioned in a midfield spot 4Ls away in running line, travelled well throughout, in traffic on turning but unable to lift a gear from 300 M and just held ground late when conditions gave out.
11着TREASURE COLT　　C W Wong

Showed usual pace to take up running set a reasonable early pace before backing off on bend, held a narrow lead on turning, there to 200 M but faded thereafter when early work.
12着DON FELIPE　　E Saint-Martin

No pace from gate, shared rear 7Ls away from pace, always well back but saved ground on bend, lacked usual finish and just plugged away in straight.
13着SUPER GENKI　　K L Chui　　(SW/TT)

Lacked pace from jump, shared rear racing 2 wide 7Ls back, not helped when pace slackened on bend, still well back on turning, unable to produce usual close and just struggled in straight.
14着MAGIC TURBO　　M W Leung

No speed from outset, back with last few racing 3 wide 7 to 8Ls from top end, covered ground on bend, no impact in run to line.
