Began awkwardly, moved up to share the lead on the outside, went head to head with that rival from 700M, gained upper hand inside 100M despite hanging in and being difficult to ride.
2着WINDICATOR RETURNS　　C Y Ho

Showed early speed to lead on the inside, joined by eventual winner before the home turn, dueled with that rival throughout the straight, kept battling on but was just picked off near the finish.
3着HAPPY PRESTIGE　　G Cheyne　　(B)

Never far off the pace in 4th, stayed on well inside 200M, nearest finish.
4着GOOD STRIKE　　M L Yeung

Guided to a rail spot and travelled behind midfield, picked up well from 300M and did best work late.
5着SUPER BOY　　D Beadman

Tracked leading pair, kept on one-paced to the line, lost 3rd place inside 100M. (Blood in trachea.)
6着ELITE OF CHIU TON　　M Chadwick　　(TT)

Dropped back to the rear, 7Ls off the pace in middle stages, switched to outside of track and made only limited progress.

Held up 2-wide in mid-division, kept on at the same pace and not getting closer to leaders.

Not far off leaders but didn't find extra under pressure, weakened 150M.

Restrained to a position towards the rear, hung out badly from 700M, finished off the race fairly. (To barrier trial around a bend.)

Not hurried and placed at the back 6-7Ls off the pace, pushed 4-wide without cover making the turn, not quickened when put to test 350M out.

Taken back purposely, raced at the tail of the field along the fence and was in an unpromising spot turning in, didn't pick up and was eased final 150M.
