Always close-up, trailed the leader on rails at 1000 M, 2Ls back in 3rd turning in, kept on well to lead on the line.

Held the 'one-out-one-back' position in 4th no worse than 3Ls from the pace until final bend, led about 150 M out but headed on the line.
3着DASHING THUNDER　　W C Marwing　　(SW)

3-wide no cover in rear at first, pressed on out 3-wide no cover from halfway, 1L down in 4th at the 200 M, kept on well, only just failed.
4着ROYAL PORTRAIT　　H W Lai

2-wide in 8th or so between 4Ls and 5Ls from the pace through to home straight, made some moderate late ground for 4th but never likely to place.
5着SIR LAGO　　M W Leung　　(B)

Slowest out again, last and between 6Ls and 8Ls of the lead until straightening for home, made some decent late ground, never nearer.
