Assumed a nice spot in midfield, 4-5ls back in running line, suited by solid speed, let down strongly from 400m and raced to lead, held off rivals comfortably.
2着TOUR DE FORCE　　M L Yeung　　(P-/B1)

Took up coveted 1out 1 back spot, all favours in run, chimed in turning into straight but quickly headed by eventual winner, stuck to task to be well clear of 3rd.
3着KA YING KID　　N Callan　　(H-/XB/TT)

Landed a spot on rails 4ls or so back around midfield, soft run in mid-section, came through gap after 400m, kept on steadily for 3rd.
4着SEA DIAMOND　　T Clark　　(H/XB/TT)

Taken down to rails racing behind midfield, 7ls or so from top end, helped by solid speed on, some trouble getting clear early in straight but closed strongly when clear to just miss place.

Went back from a wide alley and was 10ls or so well off 2nd last, saved ground on bend, closed best of rest along inside to be nearest on line.

Sat just off midfield in running line, 6ls from lead, lost spot a bit approaching bend, angled out and made some headway without threatening.

Ended up racing 3 wide at rear form a tricky gate, 6-7ls back with cover to bend, switched wider in straight but only make fair progress.

Ended up next to last 8ls back in running line, aided by solid speed on, well back but kept on ok and passed a couple in straight.

Took a spot outside leader 1L back, did share of work with solid speed on, right there turning but had no dash to match principals, folded final 250M.

Pressed on but ended up 3 wide just behind pace, enjoyed cover 2-3 ls back. Looked a possible place chance turning but just battled away and dropped out final furlong.
