Caught wide in midfield throughout, hampered and pushed wider near 450M, began to hit top gear halfway up the straight, led 150M from home and held on.
2着FLYING IN　　G Mosse　　(B1)

Along the fence in the chasing group behind leaders, swiftly moved to the front in straight and looked a big danger until challenged by the winner inside 150M, rallied on and only went down by a narrow margin.
3着CLASSA　　H W Lai　　(B)

Switched off the back from the outset and was way off the pace in early stages, responded to pressure in straight and got motoring final 200M to come within half a length of the winner.
4着MASTER GUNNER　　D Beadman　　(SR/XB)

Settled behind mid-division and swung wide into straight, stayed on down the outside but lacked the extra gear to challenge the first three.

Held up behind midfield but not far off from leaders, shifted out to a clear path inside 350M, ran on well for some distance before hitting a flat spot in late stages.

Broke well and took up a 2-wide position ahead of midfield, badly blundered and shifted out abruptly near 450M, recovered but could only finish off the race at the same pace.
