Ridden along to travel in second position outside the leader. Shot clear at the 300m, and never looked in doubt.
2着WINNING STRATEGY　　M Du Plessis　　(B)

Rated behind midfield, 2 wide with cover. Peeled out near the 500m to race 3 wide with cover. Rounded the home bend 6 deep and closed off strongly over the concluding stages.
3着VALUE CHOICE　　J Lloyd　　(B/TT)

Sent forward to lead along the paint. Maintained a good gallop down the running but was nabbed in the shadows of the post.
4着SLEEPCARE　　G Cheyne　　(B1)

Checked at the start but recovered to box seat. Battled away to hold a spot in the frame.

Parked 3 back the fence. Kept on somewhat one paced in the run to the line.

Posted 3 wide without cover, midfield. Never looked likely.

Settled at the rear soon after the start, 2 deep with cover. Peeled out widest on the home turn and passed tiring runners over the latter stages.

Camped midfield 1 off with cover. Came up flat in the final stretch.

Travelled 1 out 1 back. Had every chance but failed to capitalize.

Copped a check on jumping and then for some distance near the 800m, proved very difficult to settle whist positioned behind midfield the fence. Running on empty over the last 100m.
