Had the early lead but gave it up after 1200 M. Settled behind the pace making home turn and regained lead 300 M out. Kept on well final stages to hold off rival.

Dropped to the rear from widest draw. Rallied through rivals in the straight and made up good ground. Came within a length of the winner but unable to draw any closer in the closing stages.
3LUCKY TYCOON  W M Lai  (B)

Better than midfield. 2-wide and 2 to 3Ls off the lead making home turn. Kept on fairly but unable to turn up a notch in the straight.
4BRAVE SPIRIT  W C Marwing  (TT)

Settled on the fence at midfield. Had some trouble getting a clear run after straightening. Closed off fairly and made up some late ground.
5PAR EXCELLENCE  D Whyte

On the fence and better than midfield. 2Ls behind the lead turning for home. Had trouble getting a clear run after straightening. Ran on only fairly in the final stages.

Ridden along from a wide draw and took the lead 1200 M out. Held a length's advantage on straightening but was soon headed. Faded in the final stages.

Settled behind midfield. Caught in traffic in the early part of the straight. Made up some late ground once finding daylight.
