Pushed forward from the kick to make sure he led, 1L over next placed runner. Pulled away at the top of the straight and ridden out to the line, but never in any doubt.

Bumped on jumping before being taken up to be handily placed 3rd, on the fence. Ran solidly late, holding off sustained challenge from 3rd.
3PERPETUAL TREASURE  H N Wong  (TT)

Pushed forward early to sit 2nd, 1L off the leader and 1 off the fence. Ran solidly to the line and challenged with 2nd all the way down the straight.
4EROICO  B Prebble

Dropped back from the wide draw early to sit at the rear of the field. Pushed forward at the rock, and switched back inside at the top of the straight to run along the rail. OK to the line and made up ground on 2nd and 3rd.
5TRAVEL DATUK  M L Yeung  (CP1)

Bumped on jumping, and cruised forward early to sit near the rear of the field, on the fence, before pushing up at 800 to sit midfield. Came out for a run from 300m, and ran home well and gaining on first 4 late.
6BULLISH SMART  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

Didn't respond to early riding, and stuck 4-5 wide at the rear with no cover, before pushing forward at 700m to be closer to midfield, but still 3 wide no cover. OK to the line, kicking on late.

Taken up to sit midfield initially, before dropping out at 800m to sit 2nd last on the turn. Plugged away fairly in the straight, picking up a few slower ones late.

Shuffled back early to sit toward the rear of the field, 3-4 wide with cover. Switched back into the rail on the turn, but only went to the line fairly in the straight.
9ACCEPTED  O Doleuze  (H)

Crowded on jumping and dropped back early, eventually settling midfield. Became unsettled and checked off heels, losing ground, at 800m. Only ran fairly in the straight, and never threatened.
10BACK IN BLACK  K Teetan  (TT)

Settled midfield, 1 off the fence early. Never stretched out at any stage, and was a beaten horse early in the straight. Faded quickly last 200m.
11HIGH FIVE  K K Chiong  (B)

Couldn't get forward early, eventually settling forward of midfield, 3 wide with no cover. Only battle on 1 paced in straight before dropping out late. Vet-Cardiac Arrhythmia.
12EXCITING DREAM  D Whyte  (CP/TT)

Dropped back early to sit at the rear of the field, 4 wide with cover. Slightly keen up the back straight. Came widest on the turn, but never responded to riding and went weakly to the line.
