Stood flat-footed at start and lost ground. Taken to fence and tagged on to field back stretch. Swung wide into straight, had clear running and finished strongly to win close home.

Jumped OK, over-raced first turn, settling one-off 4L from leader back stretch. Three-wide final turn, given reminders top straight, finished strongly to just miss.
3VARA PEARL  K K Chiong  (SR)

Began well, ridden along behind pace but kept 3-wide without cover back stretch. Rolled forward 4-wide final turn, hit front 200m, run ended close home.
4DANEWIN EXPRESS  C Y Ho  (B/H/XB/TT)

Began awkwardly, crowded out and taken to fence at rear. Left fence back stretch, started forward move final turn, taken to centre track and finished off nicely.

Jumped well, ridden to hold forward position, slipping into box seat first turn. Shuffled two-back 800m, came off fence final turn, rolled forward 500m, boxed on steadily in straight.

Began well, settling one-back, one-off first turn. No change in position back stretch, shaken up entering straight but only one-paced.

Began OK, shifted across behind runners, dropping to last pair in one-off position. Last turning for home, ran on fairly in straight under the whip.

Vigorously ridden but no pace, dropping to behind midfield close to fence. Under the whip final turn, boxed on in straight under hard riding.

Pressed forward but caught wide first turn and left without cover 1100m. Allowed to improve to lead 1000m, crossing to fence 750m. Joined up front 300m, faded gradually.

Slow, dropping to rear but wide. Lost position back stretch, under pressure turn, boxed on one-paced.

Away quickly, ridden forward, racing outside early leader. Dropped to 3rd 1000m but moved up to race outside new leader. Under pressure 400m, gave ground quickly from 200m.
12FLYING PROSPERITY  C K Tong

Pressed forward to lead on settling, crossing to fence 1400m. Dropped to 2nd 1000m, then 3rd 800m. Gave ground in straight and finished tailed out. Unacceptable performance.
