Away well, settling 2-back 4L from leader. Took inside run in straight but had to switch out twice to get clear running before surging ahead final strides.

Pressed forward to race with leading pack but held wide without cover. Dropped 4L back around turn, wide in straight, finished strongly to just miss.

Stumbled at start, restrained, shifted across to rail, settling towards rear. Improved around turn, took rails run in straight, finished strongly.

Began fairly, pressed forward, taking box seat. Switched out in straight to challenge and kept on strongly while shifting under pressure. Bled from both nostrils.
