Comments

1FRAMES DEPOT  D Whyte  (B)

Reasonable jump, severely checked near 1300 M but had a smooth run in midfield thereafter, quickened well on straightening to take the lead 150 M out, kept on to win with a little in hand.

2MASTER MASTER  B Doyle  (V)

Slotted into a 2-wide position better than midfield, well placed in 4th turning for home, led briefly near 200 M but was soon collared by the winner, rallied but unable to peg back.

3AIPODER IMAGE  H W Lai  (B)

Slow to begin, crossed to the fence behind runners and remained in the rear to straight, took time to get going and did his best work towards the finish.

4GRAND GENERAL  K C Leung  (SW)

Broke well, given a waiting ride in a rearward position, 5Ls behind leaders making the turn, ran on steadily inside 300 M without looking dangerous.

5SIMPLY THE BEST  M W Leung  (SW)

Travelled 3-wide in a position behind midfield, 4Ls down inside 400 M, kept on in straight without troubling the first three.

6ZERO GRAVITY  M Chadwick  (TT)

Recovered from a slow start to race besides leader, briefly led in straight but found no extra inside 150 M.

7GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY  B Prebble  (B)

Went forward and took hold of a rail position early, eased back to midfield entering the back straight, ran on fairly inside 350 M but was hampered 150 M and lost his chance from that point.

8DAYLIGHT EXPRESS  C W Wong  (TT)

Slow into stride, drifted back to the rear 8Ls off the pace but was unsettled in early stages, made a wide run into straight but couldn't quite pick up from off the pace.

9COOL RUNNINGS  J Winks

In midfield early but was shuffled back down the back straight, attempted a run down the inside on straightening but was severely checked near 200 M and didn't have a clear crack.

10MAGIC PRACTITIONER  S K Sit  (B1)

From a wide barrier used up plenty of early speed to cross for the lead, struggled to hold on early in straight and weakened rapidly from 200 M.

11WEALTH SYNERGY  M Du Plessis  (B)

Went forward to race in a prominent position behind leaders, under urge making the home turn, trapped on the inner rails and was checked near 250 M and 200 M, never recovered.

12KING OF TURF  M L Yeung  (B2/H/TT)

In a position better than midfield, unable to slot in and was forced 3-wide without cover throughout the race, under serious pressure to hold his position passing 500 M before dropping out quickly.
