Began well, held back for coveted run on rails in 3rd, soon angled off rail for a run after straightening, fought on under pressure to gain upper hand in the shadows of the post.

Broke well, soon obtained cover settling 2-wide in midfield, ran on well inside final 200 M to be nearest at finish despite a tight passage.

Began fairly, ridden along early, settled on rails in 5th mostly about 4Ls off the speed, similar turning in, fought on doggedly to be nearest at finish.
4NILOMETER  M Chadwick  (SW/TT)

Soon moved up from the widest barrier to join leaders, settled in 2nd just outside the lead far side, hit the front around home bend, unable to sustain effort and headed close to home.
5NORDIC STAR  D Whyte  (TT)

Settled in rear of midfield, went wide for a run into straight, ran on steadily inside final 200 M to be nearest at finish.
6UNIQUE SPEED  H W Lai  (TT)

Began nicely from a wide draw, settled 2-wide in 4th within 3Ls of pace, came to challenge after straightening, made steady headway until tightened and lost position close to home.
7CHAMPION LAD  D Beadman  (XB/TT)

Raced wide in midfield after beginning from a wide-ish draw, shuffled back towards rear rounding stables bend, one from last far side, closed off well okay down centre of straight. (Tactic questioned.)

Soon taken back for rails run in midfield, came to challenge upon straightening, could only run home one-paced.

Settled in last few, made no serious impression in the run home.

Settled at the back, trailed the field most of way, finished off well running past well beaten horses close to home.
