In midfield 4 to 5Ls behind leader and travelled well throughout, picked up gradually inside 300 M to score in comfortable style.

Tracked leader one out one back, always going easy, had a duel with the leader on straightening but both of them were unable to contain the eventual winner late.
3GLOBAL WAY  H W Lai  (V)

Well enough away and was able to move to the lead without making too much use, set a steady gallop in front, under pressure passing 450 M but kept on well in straight. Headed near 100 M.
4DECENT FELLOW  Y T Cheng  (B/H/TT)

Held a rail spot in a position better than midfield, had a relaxed run to bend, box-seated on straightening and couldn't get out until 150 M, ran on well when cleared.
5REAL REJOICING  O Doleuze  (B/TT)

No early pace and struggled to hold a position on the rail early, travelled in midfield 5Ls away from leader, switched out near 300 M for a clear run and did his best work towards the end.
6SURE GAIN  W C Marwing

Settled 2-wide in mid-division, ran on steadily in straight without troubling the first three. Lacked the needed late kick.
7OCTAGONAL CANYON  D Whyte

Handily placed in 4th, had a smooth run to bend, stayed on ok in straight but was one-paced in his finish.

Settled towards the rear and trailed 8Ls down the back straight, came wide on turning, ran on only fairly in straight. No impression.

Raced prominently behind leader but unable to quicken under pressure turning in, gave ground from 150 M.

Switched off and settled in the rear, 10Ls away from the leader in middle stages, taken wide on straightening, made some progress in the straight but was given far too much to do.
11SUPER POWER  M Chadwick  (TT)

Raced behind midfield 7Ls off the pace, saved ground on the inside, unable to pick up when pressed inside 300 M.
12TALE OF FRIENDSHIP  K C Leung  (B/SR)

Towards the rear, 8Ls behind leader making the home turn, soon struggled. Dropped out passing 200 M.
