Settled in 6th out 2-wide and 4Ls down initially, closer off last bend, quickened up to lead 150 M out while hanging in, driven out to hold on.

Eased back to 9th about 5Ls from the speed through the first 800 M, finished off well out wide but not quickly enough to reel in the winner.

Enjoyed the softest run possible on rails 2Ls behind the speed in 3rd before straightening, did enough to place but had every hope to win also.

Midfield 4Ls off pace until home bend, challenging when checked by winner 100 M out, may have placed otherwise, objection by rider overruled.

Pressed to dispute the pace at the 800 M, 1L back in 2nd turning for home, had every chance to at least place but lacked an extra kick.

Nicely placed in 4th out 2-wide and 2-1/2Ls behind the speed until last corner, one-paced to conclude.

Led by 1L at first before being joined at the 800 M, established a break again at the last bend and 200 M before being swamped final 150 M.

Slowly away, at least 7Ls behind in 11th down the back straight and same spinning off last bend, retrieved some late ground, never nearer.

10th and 6Ls behind initial tempo, wide turning for home and still well back, clawed back some fair late headway, wants further.

3-wide but with cover around midfield and 4Ls from the tempo at 600 M, checked before home turn and petered out in conclusion.

Slow out and soon 9Ls last, remained at the tail of the field despite retrieving minor late ground.

Pressed on 3-wide no cover to dispute the pace at halfway, raced greenly on the circle and beat a hasty retreat in the stretch. (Tactic questioned.)
