Comments

1URBAN TRIUMPH  K C Leung  (H-/CP/TT)

Shifted behind runners after start & raced just worse than midfield along the rail. Came away from the rail near the 500m, moved into clear running near the 250m before closing well to take lead in final few strides.

2GANGNAM STAR  M Chadwick  (P-/XB1/TT-)

Raced in midfield along the rail. Was held up on straightening, bumped heavily when trying to shift into clear near the 225m, got clear inside last 150m & closed well to finish a narrowly beaten & slightly unlucky second.

3MR GOOD VIBES  A Badel  (B)

Raced outside the leader. Moved to narrow lead approaching 200m, joined inside final 50m, hung outwards in concluding stages but did enough to hold third on the line only beaten a neck.

4GOOD VIEW GLORY  Z Purton

Had a nice run 1,1 for the majority. Bumped with second near the 225m, continued close to the lead for most of the straight, was bumped by third in final 25m and was beaten under a length on the line.

5PERFECT PEACH  L Hewitson  (B/TT)

Shifted back to race rearward away from the rail. Was second last on straightening when 4.5L from the lead, made good late ground down the outside in concluding stages to be beaten only 1.5L on line.

6RATTAN WORLD  B Avdulla  (B/TT)

Had no early speed, was ridden to hold position near the tail. Continued to race third last along the rail in middle stages, stayed only the rail on straightening before making some late ground, not be beaten far in midfield.

7THE GOOD DEAL  A Atzeni  (SR-/CP2/TT)

Had a nice run on the leaders back. Was held up for clear running along the rail for the first half of the straight, then continued to be held tight with limited room until inside the final 100m before finishing ok late.

8BEAT HOLLOW  H Bowman

Began fairly before mustering speed to lead. Joined at the 250m, weakened out a few lengths in the final 100m & was beaten just over 3L.

9DAILY TROPHY  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

Was steadied & taken back to race at the tail. Was last and over 6L from the lead on straightening, shifted out to be the widest runner in the straight, made up a few lengths late but was no threat when finishing ninth.

10JAZZ CLUB  Y L Chung

Was caught racing three wide without cover in midfield throughout. Continued only about a length from the lead at the furlong marker before wide trip took its toll and weakened in final 100m to be third last.

11CIRCUIT SPLENDOR  B Thompson

Began well but drifted back to race midfield away form the rail. Was under 3L from the lead entering last section but didn't do much in the straight, weakening to finish second last.

12GENERAL ACE  L Ferraris  (CP)

Drifted back after the start & raced just worse than midfield away from the rail. Shifted into three wide line with cover approaching 500m, was 4L from lead entering last section but weakened in straight & finished last.
