Comments

1HIT THE SHOT  A Hamelin  (TT)

Track leader on the rail one back in 3rd, responded well to hit the front 200 metres out and hang on well to the line.

2ABOVE  R Maia  (B/TT)

Inconvenienced shortly after start and drifted back to rear of midfield, commenced move entering final stretch responding strongly inside final 150 metres to miss narrowly.

3NEARLY FINE  C Y Ho  (TT)

Settled towards the rear near the rail, saved ground turning into the final stretch, responded well under pressure but unable to draw level throughout.

4NATURAL STORM  M F Poon  (V-/B2)

Ridden forward from moderate start to 5th on the rail some 3L back, held similar position but became 6th on stables bend, fought on well under pressure to hold place chance inside final 100 metres, hampered on the line.

5BLASTOISE  L Ferraris

Broke well, gradually taken one-out-one-back to 4th, remained similar but became 5th 700 metres out, kept on without quickening in straight and found no extra close to finish.

6SUPER OASIS  M Chadwick  (B/H/TT)

Shared pace most of the way, unable to sustain effort inside final 150 metres.

7FIVE G PATCH  A Badel  (TT)

Shifted towards rear rounding home bend the first time for cover, headway 3-wide to forward of midfield on stables bend, remained without cover for headway final bend, made good late impression. (Tactic questioned)

8COPARTNER ELITES  Z Purton  (CP/TT)

Jumped in the air at the start losing considerable ground, recovered steadily to join the back-markers travelling keenly in sedate pace in home straight the first time, only ran past well-beaten horses.

9S J TOURBILLON  L Hewitson  (CP/SR/XB/TT)

Settled taken back from a wide gate, travelled keenly in slow tempo in home straight the first time, commenced move making final bend going widest into final stretch, made no impression down the centre of the track.

10NORDIC SKY  C L Chau  (SR/XB)

Took up running after first 200 metres and soon steadied up the tempo after obtaining rails run, increased pace in back straight but headed when finding no extra inside final 200 metres.
