Hard ridden early to go forward, settling half a length behind and outside leader. Stayed close around the turn, took over lead 350m and pulled clear, won eased down.

Jumped with field, restrained and taken across behind runners, settling at rear in one-off position. Entered straight behind horses, got split 300m out and finished strongly.
3UNIQUE JOYFUL  H N Wong  (H/V/TT)

Niggled early before shifting across behind horses, settling five-back, one-off. Held behind horses early in straight, switched out widest 300m and finished off well.
4SECRET CODE  M L Yeung  (H/TT)

Jumped OK, ridden but not much speed, settling behind midfield 5L from leader. Switched out wide in straight to get run and ran on steadily.

Outpaced, settling well back along fence. Made up some ground around turn, stayed on fence in straight and ran on well to be closest at finish.

Ridden to hold forward position but held wide without cover three-back from leader. Continued to race wide around turn and into straight turning one-paced. Lame right hind.

Began well, ridden along between horses three-back from leader. Had every chance entering straight before tightened 100m out, boxed on. Found to be lame right front.

Hard ridden from an awkward draw to lead on settling before crossing to fence. Set strong pace to 350m when collared and faded quickly.

Jumped fairly, shifted across behind runners from an outside draw, settling a distant last. Well back entering straight and never competitive.
14SHANGHAI BOND  H W Lai  (B1/TT1)

Began well, battling for early lead before restrained, settling three-back from leader along fence. Started to give ground on straightening and finished tailed off. Unacceptable performance.
