Urged forward but held wide outside early leader before taking over lead 1200m and crossing to fence 1000m. Set soft sections to 300m when challenged but kept finding for narrow victory.

Began OK, racing between horses three-back from leader. Urged forward turning for home, switched out wide in straight and finished strongly to miss narrowly.
3FANTASTIC KAKA  T H So  (H)

Pressed forward from inside draw to settle a neck behind leader back stretch and turn. Threw out strong challenge on straightening but unable to catch winner. Rider dropped whip 100m.
4KABAYAN  M Chadwick  (CP)

Began well, ridden along to hold position one-back, one-off. Took inside run on straightening and kept on gamely without looking dangerous.
5PIKACHU  M L Yeung  (B)

Jumped with field but tightened 1500m. Urged forward, racing three-wide 1.5L behind leader, and mostly without cover. Kept on well in straight.
6WONDERFUL MOMENTS  H N Wong  (B)

First out, leading initially before slipping into box seat when leader crossed over 1000m. Stayed on fence entering straight and kept on steadily without being a threat.
7RAINBOW CHIC  C Y Ho  (TT)

Shifted across behind runners from outside draw, settling towards rear along fence. Made up some ground in straight. Rider reported saddle shifted but able to ride out final 300m.
8SANTA FE SUN  K C Leung  (B/TT)

Began awkwardly, settling at rear in one-off position. Dropped to clear last entering straight and ran past tired horses closing stages.
9TRAVEL BROTHER  Z Purton

Began well, ridden along to hold fence three-back from leader. Lost position around turn and one-paced in straight under hard riding. Found to have a heart irregularity.
10GURUS DREAM  N Rawiller

Urged forward from an awkward draw and forced to race wide back stretch. Lost position around turn, one-paced in straight.
11ALL YOU WISH  G Mosse  (TT)

Checked on jumped and dropped to clear last. Urged forward around turn but unable to progress and tired, dropping back.
