Comments

1SILVER GRECIAN  D Beadman  (XB/TT)

Standard getaway, regathered to be in midfield 4Ls back, had an easy time in mid section, angled clear soon after turning, produced decent finish under hard riding for a strong win.

2FAT CHOY OOHLALA  K C Ng  (B)

Faded back as usual, ended up 6ls back in running line, not helped by slow speed, improved wide turning, produced a strong burst making many lengths in straight, ducked in late and narrowly missed.

3FAMILISTS  K C Leung  (H)

Showed speed to take up spot outside leader, had brief look for lead early, challenged again when speed went on at 500m, in mix to shadows of the post.

4NATIONAL TREASURE  D Whyte

Plenty of early speed to take up running, set even sections early, had to wind up speed with pressure from 400m, kept fighting and just missed a place late.

5SAPELLI  O Doleuze

Drifted back from outside alley, raced 2 and 3 wide at rear, 6Ls or so away at rear, always well back to bend, produced usual honest close to be nearest on line.

6STRAIGHT FORWARD  G Cheyne  (SW/TT)

Went back from an awkward draw, raced 5-6Ls back on rails, kept improving turning, made steady progress to be closest at finish.

7MARK UP  P Strydom

Positioned just off midfield 4-5Ls back, in running line throughout, made some minor progress without threatening.

8AMIGO  W C Marwing

Well enough away, planted 3 wide without cover 2Ls back, improved on circle and made an early challenge at 400m, spent force by 200m and faded.

9PURE CHAMPION  B Prebble  (TT)

Away nicely, took ideal spot 1 out 1 back, all favours in run, ridden along turning but left flat footed and just whacked away in straight.

10ZAIDAN  J Lloyd  (SW1)

Didn't have much early speed, raced 3 wide midfield or worse 5Ls away, had cover but niggled along turning, didn't show turn of foot in straight and just struggled to line.

11VITALITY EXPRESS  T Angland  (B/TT)

Began well, ideally positioned on leaders back, always there and didn't work with steady sections, unsuited when they sprinted and gradually lost touch final 400m.
