Hard ridden from middle gate to track the leader on fence in 3rd until home straight when pressured; responded to lead 100m out; kept on.

Good early pace from wide gate to lead by 1L on fence at the 900m; 2Ls clear turning in; grabbed by the winner 100m out; hung on for 2nd.

Midfield with cover at least 5Ls from the speed before taking last curve out 3-wide; stayed on well to nick a place late on.

6th with cover in midfield before straightening for home; closer at the 200m; had his chance to place inside final 50m; just missed out.

Tracked early pace out 1L off 2-wide in 2nd; 2Ls back in 2nd turning in; challenged on all sides final 100m but still nearly placed.

In rear at good 8Ls or 9Ls behind pace until the home turn; recovered some nice late ground; never nearer.

Nicely placed 3-back on the rails in 5th about 4Ls off speed before last turn; given every hope; lacked a change of gear.

Broke okay; worse than midfield some 7Ls off speed before final bend; made up some late ground down the centre without threatening.

8Ls off pace in rear down the back; wide no cover on the circle; stayed on okay out widest down the centre but never posed a threat.

Taken back from wide gate; 9Ls off pace at halfway; recovered some decent late ground along the inner in the final stages.

Awkward with head up through first half; hung out on the circle when about 8Ls back in 11th or so; kept chasing the majority.

Nicely handled from gate 11 to race 2-wide and 4Ls off pace in 4th at 800m; same turning for home; weakened inside final 200M.

Slowest away; 4-back on the rails at halfway about 5Ls off pace in midfield; lacklustre conclusion; later scoped for mucus. (Questioned for disappointing performance.)

Keen when severely checked at the 800m when at the tail of the field; similar spot off last bend; faded out. (Bled.)
