1SPECIAL DAYS  D Whyte

Angled into running line, ended up 6Ls away in midfield, helped with pace on, tracked 3 wide leaving bend, let down nicely final 300 M to take lead at 150 M and score convincingly.

2GEM OF CHIU TON  E Saint-Martin  (TT-)

No early pace, settled in rear division 7 to 8Ls back, aided by solid tempo at top end, still well back on bend, improved wider turning, closed hard down outside for a clear 2nd.

3LU YUE  C W Wong  (B/H)

Away ok but ridden up to take up running, set a genuine tempo, 2Ls clear throughout, extended margin rounding bend, kept on but couldn't hold off challengers final 150 M.

4WIN PRACTITIONER  C K Tong

Ordinary jump, ridden up to take closer order, raced 8Ls back on fence, helped with speed on, ridden along turning, made gradual progress in straight doing best work late to make frame.

5GREAT GUY  M Chadwick  (TT)

Amongst first few out, outpaced by front runners early, raced 3Ls back 3 wide without cover, did share of work to bend, kept on soundly given trip but just peaked on efforts at 200 M.

6INTERCHINA STAR  K L Chui  (SW-/TT1)

Began well, pressed on to take a spot outside leader, did some work with genuine speed and had to cart field up on bend, kept on to 200 M but unable to find extra to continue to figure last bit.

7GALLANT CHAMPION  J Winks  (V/TT)

Drifted back from a wide alley, shared rear on rails, 8 to 9Ls away throughout, still had job to do on turning, weaved between horses in straight closing well to be nearest at finish.

8AMPLE GAINS  Z Purton  (B/TT)

Standard jump, positioned 5Ls away on fence, had an easy time on rails to bend, kept to fence but not clear until 200 M, made only moderate progress thereafter.

9RICE FIELD  Y T Cheng  (XB1/TT)

Restrained from a wide gate, settled 9Ls or so away sharing rear, helped by strong speed, made wide run leaving bend, made some ground down middle without looking a winning hope.

10DISGUISE  K C Leung  (B)

Drifted back from a wide alley, ended up 3 wide 8Ls away from lead, raced wide throughout, switched out turning, lacked usual response and just plodded in straight.

11DORDENMA  M Nunes

Broke nicely, ended up 3 to 4Ls away just behind strong speed, had even trail to bend, looked a place chance at 400 M but found little under pressure and weakened out.

12HE CAN TANGO  M Du Plessis

Away well, settled in midfield 2 wide 4 to 5Ls away, had a fair trip to bend, found little when moved wide in straight, dropped out easily. (Abnormal breathing.)

13PLASTIC POLYMER  P H Lo

Began with rest, ended up behind midfield 8Ls from front runners, speed on to suit, struggling turn, battled in straight.

14STRAWBERRY  H W Lai

Bounced out quickly, pushed forward to race behind leader, made some use of with strong speed, struggling on bend, weakened quickly.
