Around midfield 3-wide but with cover within 4Ls of the pace until home turn, picked up well to lead at the 100 M, driven out.

5Ls back in 12th leaving back straight and similarly placed turning in, ran on strongly through the field for 2nd.

A neck down in 2nd on the rails at 1000 M, led by a neck 500 M out and clear by 1L at furlong pole, headed 100 M later, barely clung onto a place.

2-wide mid-division within 3Ls or so of leaders before straightening, 2Ls down but held up at 200 M, kept on once clear, unlucky not to place.

Slowly out, between 4Ls and 5Ls back in 9th or so until final turn, finished off pretty well and nearly placed.

Enjoyed the box-seat trail in 4th on fence 2Ls from the speed until last turn, had every opportunity to achieve a better finishing position.

Slowest out and soon one from rear 8Ls behind leaders, still at the rear off last curve, ran on okay through a few beaten rivals, never nearer.

Went back from wide gate, at least 8Ls before final corner, never likely to play a serious role in the finish.

Pressed forward from the jump but trapped 3-wide no cover throughout, disputing the lead before final turn, extra work took its toll in final furlong.

3-back the rails around 10th at least 4Ls from the pace through to homestretch, one-paced to wrap up.

Pressed forward and led by 1L out 2-wide at 800 M, under pressure when headed before the home turn, surrendered fairly tamely.

Caught 4-wide no cover around midfield about 2Ls behind leaving back straight, all out to retain this proximity at the 200 M, ceded ground late on.

Always rearward, wide but with cover about 5Ls off pace through to home straight, made not the slightest impression.
