Settled just worse than midfield, quickened well inside final 350 metres to hit the front over 150 metres out, won readily.

Not far off in 5th or 6th, became further off the lead by 3L when pace increased onto home bend, 1L back when baulked behind leaders early in straight, quickened well inside final 250 metres.

Settled just over 2L back in 7th, further off the pace 3-wide when tempo increased onto home bend, fought on steadily without threatening.

4STORM RIDER  K Teetan

Soon recovered to 3-wide in first few from moderate start, became 4th just over 2L back 3-wide without cover onto home bend, came to challenge entering straight, held every chance until finding no extra inside final 150 metres.

Broke well from the one draw settling not far off the pace, some 3L back when tempo increased early in home bend, fought on steadily under pressure despite inconvenienced about 150 metres out.

Gradually taken back to worse than midfield from a poor draw remaining 3-wide in last few to straight, fought on steadily under pressure inside final 200 metres, did best work late.

Ridden forward to be up with the pace, came to share lead into straight gaining narrow advantage shortly afterwards, unable to sustain effort and swamped inside final 200 metres.
