Broke well before settling just off the pace in 4th over 2L back, commenced move entering home straight and quickened well to hit the front 200 metres out.

Ridden along after moderate beginning before settling in 8th on rail just worse than midfield, shifted 3-wide for a run rounding home bend and ran on under pressure to be nearest at finish.

Vied for lead taking over at about 1000 metres out, gained rails run in front about 800 metres out and led until headed by winner about 200 metres out.

Ridden positively from the widest draw before settling 1L back 3-wide without cover in 3rd, gained 2nd onto home bend but could make no further progress under pressure after straightening.

Soon recovered to some 3L back in midfield on rail after moderate start, came under pressure after straightening but could only produce modest progress inside final 200 metres. (Bled)
