Crowded at start, lacked early pace despite niggling along travelling in 9th, commenced move shortly after straightening responding well inside final 200 metres to assert authority 100 metres out. (Sustained bone fracture)
2INVINCIBLE SAGE  A Badel  (CP1)

Settled one back on rail, shifted out for a run after straightening, quickened to lead over 200 metres out only to be caught by fast-finishing winner 100 metres out.

Settled well behind from the widest draw, trailed the field to the 500 metres, ran on between runners in straight without threatening first two.

4HOWDEEPISYOURLOVE  B Avdulla

Settled well back in 10th and waited with, shifted widest turning into straight, ran on well inside final 200 metres to narrowly miss 3rd.

Prominent to straight, came under pressure upon straightening and steadily faded inside final 200 metres.

Broke well before taken over 2L back to 4th 3-wide, commenced move 700 metres out disputing lead into straight, unable to sustain effort and overhauled inside final 200 metres.

Hard ridden from a poor draw to vie for early lead obtaining rails run in front passing the 800 metres, led until joined into straight, weakened under pressure out of contention inside final 200 metres.

Niggled along in worse than midfield early stages, gained closer 3-wide rounding home bend, kept on under pressure from 6th into straight before finding no extra inside final 100 metres.
