1SUPER GOLDI  K C Leung

Shifted back from widest gate and settled second last along the rail. Moved into clear running on straightening, entered last section 5L from lead before closing strongly to charge to lead in final 25m and win.

2SMILING COLLECTOR  K Teetan  (XB)

Raced in midfield away from the rail. Eased three wide with cover passing the 700m, was just over 2L from the lead on straightening, made continual closing ground to be narrowly beaten when passed in final few strides.

3CIRCUIT FIERY  Z Purton

Raced three wide early, was two wide in middle stages when galloping in midfield. Eased into three wide line with cover again passing 600m before closing well all the way to the line to steal third in final stride.

4AFFIRM  L Hewitson  (TT)

Pushed forward to lead. Continued in front all the way until only over-run by the closing rivals in the final 25m. Beaten under a length but missed a placing.

5ARIEL  A Atzeni  (CP/TT)

Raced three wide without cover outside the leaders for the majority. Tried hard & was still not far behind passing 150m but wide run took its toll in final stages.

6THE KHAN  A Badel  (H/SR)

Raced in midfield along rail early. Eased off the rail approaching 600m mark, shifted wider again on straightening when just over 3L from the lead before finishing off steadily in final stages to hold midfield finish.

7MISSION VOICE  L Ferraris

Drifted back after start & raced third last away from rail. Continued rearward, shifted wider passing 550m, was the widest runner on straightening when still 5.5L behind, made some late ground from a long way back.

8CALIFORNIA ICON  Y L Chung  (V/TT)

Got back after start, raced fourth last along the rail in the middle stages. Came off the rail approaching the 600m, steadied near 500m, shifted wider on straightening, entered last section 5L behind, finished steadily late.

9BIG RED  B Avdulla

Obtained a nice position 1,1 in middle stages. Was only 2L from the lead entering last section but did little in the straight, weakening a few lengths to finish ninth.

10SUPER BONUS  H Bentley  (B/TT)

Pushed forward and raced outside the leader. Continued second on straightening, under a length behind, peaked on effort at the 200m, weakened out in final furlong & was well beaten.

11V LOVE YOU  B Thompson  (TT)

Raced in midfield between runners early before racing along rail in middle stages. Was niggled along passing 600m, was 4.5L from lead on straightening, shifted outwards mid-straight but did little, weakening to be beaten 7L.

12LADY BILLIE  M F Poon  (H/P1/TT-)

Was in midfield early before drifting slightly further back after the 1000m & raced just worse than midfield thereafter. Came wider approaching home turn, was second widest on straightening but did nothing in last section.

13DUBLIN STAR  M Chadwick  (V/TT)

Had a nice run on the leaders back for the majority. Was only 2.5L from the lead on straightening but was beaten at the 300m mark & weakened very poorly thereafter & finished a long second last.

0CHATEAU  -  (PC-)

Had no early speed & raced a clear last throughout. Unfortunately went amiss early in the straight & failed to finish.
