Restrained in last few from a poor draw and waited with, wide most of the way and widest into straight, ran on strongly down the centre of the track to snatch victory final strides.

Jumped well before gradually settling in midfield on rail, slightly further off the lead around home bend, ran on well in straight to hit the front only to be caught final strides.

Settled well behind from a wide draw, saved ground turning in for home, inconvenienced 200 metres out, finished off the race well.
4DRAGON STAR  E C W Wong  (V/XB)

Pressed forward from a poor draw, used wide around first home bend to take up running turning into back straight, obtained rails run 600 metres out, led until swamped inside final 150 metres.
5LITTLE FAIRY  A Badel  (V)

Well there on the rail early settling over 2L back in 4th on rail, slightly further off the pace at around the 800 metres, saved ground turning in for home but unable to sustain effort closing stages.

Pressed forward to soon join the leaders, restrained one-out-one-back for cover turning into back straight, held every chance upon straightening but unable to sustain effort closing stages.

Travelled in midfield in 5th about 4L off the pace, came under pressure rounding home bend, unable to quicken under pressure in straight.

Jumped awkwardly from a poor draw, travelled awkwardly wide in midfield around first bend, slightly worse in back straight and one of the widest on the home turn, made no further impression.
