Went forward under 10lb claimer, tracked leader from 1400M, took over top of straight, quickly sprinted clear and was well in control final stages.

Tracked leaders in a slowly run race, close enough turning for home, soon moved up to 2nd, tried hard but couldn't get closer to the winner.
3INTREPID WINNER  K De Melo  (B)

Soon crossed to the fence, held up towards the rear in a slowly run race, 5Ls to make up 400M, ran home mildly down the inside, got up for non-threatening 3rd late.

4KIMBERLEY  A Hamelin  (B/TT)

Settled 4th, moved closer to leaders passing halfway but raced wide no cover from 650M, only battled over final 400M, no threat to the winner.
5BERLIN TANGO  Z Purton  (B/H/TT)

Settled down midfield and saved ground along the fence throughout, kept on evenly under top weight but couldn't quicken to challenge leaders.
6GALLANT HERO  A Badel

Caught 3 deep early stages before slotting into a 2-wide spot in midfield, little change at the turn, ran home one paced.

7ESCAPE ROUTE  H Bentley  (H)

Restrained after the start, held up behind midfield, wide into straight, made limited progress only.
8LOOKING GREAT  M Chadwick  (TT)

Jumped on terms, maintained a position just ahead of midfield, inconvenienced 200M by a weakening rival, ran home one paced.
9TURIN MASCOT  K Teetan  (PC/TT)

Settled near last in a slowly run race, wide into straight but failed to finish off. (Jockey : disadvantaged by settling back in the field with the early stages of the race slower than standard.)

Jumped only fairly, positioned ahead of midfield, caught wide no cover from 1200M to 800M, hard pressed home turn but couldn't go on with his challenge. (Jockey could offer no explanation.)

From wide draw taken across behind runners, raced as the back-marker over 10Ls off the pace on settling, failed to respond under pressure 500M out. Never involved.
12TRUE GENIUS  B Avdulla  (H2/TT)

Sent forward and enjoyed an uncontested lead, headed passing 400M, no extra and weakened to last. (Jockey : asked to take up a forward position with his mount stepping up in distance.)
