1TOMODACHI KOKOROE  K Teetan  (TT)

Raced outside the leader early and then 1,1 from about the 900m. Moved up to take narrow lead near 150m before digging deep in final stages to cling on and win by the narrowest possible margin.

2BUNDLE OF CHARM  A Badel

Raced in midfield away from the rail. Came wider from the 400m, closed strongly down the outside to share lead passing the 150m mark, tried hard but missed on the bob, beaten by the narrowest of margins on line.

3BEAUTY CHARGE  Y L Chung  (H/TT)

Got back to race worse than midfield. Began closing strongly between runners passing 200m before being badly crowded & checked near 150m, regathered himself & charged to line to only be beaten half-length, should have won.

4SON PAK FU  C L Chau  (BO)

Got back to race second last away from the rail. Came wider on straightening when sharing last place before closing strongly down the outside to be beaten only half a length into fourth in bunched finish.

5ADIOS  M F Poon  (TT)

Raced on the leaders back in middle stages. Bumped heavily near the 250m when held up for clear running on leaders heels & checked, got clear inside last furlong, closed off well, beaten just over a length in bunched finish.

6MAJESTIC KNIGHT  B Thompson  (B)

Raced second away from rail. Shifted inwards on straightening & bumped heavily with rival, shifted outwards near the 150m hampering rival (rider suspended) before finishing steadily late, not be beaten far.

7DUKE WAI  A Atzeni  (P)

Taken back to last after the start. Shifted out to be the widest runner on straightening when sharing last place, made ground down the outside in the final stages but could only beat one rival home despite beaten only 1.5L.

8KURPANY  E C W Wong  (B/TT)

Showed customary early speed to lead. Joined 7 Headed by the winner near the 150m mark, weakened a few lengths to finish last albeit beaten only 3L.
