Soon led after a good start, took them along slowly before quickening up the pace 450M, kept on strongly to line gave nothing else a chance.
2LUCKY WITH YOU  A Atzeni

Maintained a midfield position 4Ls off the lead on settling, quickened well to go 2nd 300M out, fought hard final 200M but couldn't get closer to winner.
3WELLINGTON  H Bowman  (B/XB/TT)

Held up behind midfield, caught wide no cover after 850M, worked into the race well 500M, kept battling over final 300m but couldn't reach winner.
4SON PAK FU  C L Chau  (BO)

Settled in 4th spot always In touch, held up for clear running after 350M, stuck on well over final 200M for a creditable 4th against higher rated rivals.
5FLYING ACE  A Badel  (B)

Given a waiting ride towards the rear, raced keenly early stages, kept on steadily passing 400M but couldn't get closer to first few.
6LUCKY SWEYNESSE  Z Purton

Failed to show early pace, raced keenly in 2nd half of the field further back than intended, no clear run until passing 250M, passed a few late and never looked like winning. (Lame next day.)
7TAJ DRAGON  K Teetan

Slow to begin, recovered to race behind midfield, shifted away from fence 500M, disappointed for running mid-straight before closing off well final stages. Could do better.

Chased leader on outside, urged along passing 350M but couldn't finish well enough, weakened over final 200M.
9PACKING TREADMILL  J Kah  (SR)

Began only fairly, not bustled, settled in mid-division further back than intended, failed to improve on straightening.
10COURIER WONDER  L Ferraris  (H/XB1)

Jumped only fairly, soon taken back to the last spot from a wide draw, had plenty to do top of straight, failed to finish the job.
11DUKE WAI  H Bentley  (PC)

From wide draw shifted across behind runners, settled near last racing keenly early and middle stages, had a lot of ground to make up 400M but gave very little, never a factor.
12SIGHT SUCCESS  B Avdulla  (E)

Jumped awkwardly, urged along to be tracking leader, out-finished from 250M, steadied 100M when giving ground.
13SUPER WEALTHY  L Hewitson  (V/XB)

From draw 1 obtained a position ahead of midfield, couldn't quicken passing 400M, dropped away to finish last. (Jockey reported his horse made a respiratory noise during race.)
