Showed speed at start, raced second away from the rail for the majority. Moved to the lead at the 200m, drew away to win by over a length carrying 2lb over-weight.
2HEROIC MASTER  A Atzeni  (CP/TT)

Raced in midfield away from the rail. Was slightly wide around the first bend when hanging outwards. Came wider on straightening before making good ground down the outside in late stages to steal second on line.
3ATOMIC ENERGY  Y L Chung  (TT)

Had a nice run 1,1 for the majority. Was just under 4L from the lead on straightening, drifted outwards mid-straight when hitting the line well to be third beaten just over a length.
4NICCONI COUNTY  C Y Ho  (XB/TT)

Raced in midfield along the rail throughout early & middle stages. Came away form the inside on straightening, before closing well all the way to the line to be in a line of three all beaten just over a length.
5CALIFORNIA DEEPLY  L Ferraris  (H1/TT)

Jumped fairly & then shifted across to the rail & raced second last. Raced third last along the rail from the 600m, was just under 7L from the lead entering final section before making good late ground from a long way back.
6FORTUNE WARRIOR  K Teetan  (CP-/B1)

Showed customary early speed to come across from gate 9 and lead. Was joined by the winner near the 200m mark, over-run for a minor placing in final 50m & was only beaten 2L into midfield.
7CHAIN OF GOLD  L Hewitson  (H1/TT1)

Bumped at the start & got back to race just worse than midfield away from the rail. Was just over 6L from the lead at 400m, shifted outwards to be the widest runner on straightening before making some late ground out wide.
8HARMONY N BLESSED  B Avdulla  (B/TT)

Ridden along to improve position after the start before settling in third along the inside from about the 700m. Was only 2.5L from the lead entering last section, peaked on effort near the 150m, weakened a few lengths late.
9BEAUTY GLORY  H Bentley  (CP/H/TT)

Raced wide in early stages before steadying approaching the 650m bend & getting back to second last. Was over 7L from the lead entering last section, halved deficit in the run to the line but only beat one rival home.
10ENFOLDED  K C Leung  (CP-/H-/TT)

Drifted back from the outside gate & was a clear last after the first 50m. Continued last & nearly 9L from the lead entering last section before failing to pass a rival in the straight & being beaten 7.5L on line.
