Raced in midfield on rail. Moved away from inside on straightening when under 2L from the lead, dashed between runners at 300m before making continual strong ground to steel lead inside final 50m.

Pushed forward & raced at leaders quarters. Took over the lead soon after straightening, held lead all the way until overtaken by winner inside final 50m.

3LUCKY EXPRESS  Z Purton  (E/TT)

Steadied & drifted back race with only 3 behind. Eased wider approaching bend, dashed quickly passing 300m, looked the winner at 100m before just flattening out late. Held third, close behind & well clear of forth.
4MASTER MONTARO  M Chadwick  (CP)

Steadied & shifted behind runners to the rail before making some ground to settle worse than midfield on the inside. Stayed close to the rail in the straight before passing a few rivals to move to well held 4th in late stages.
5BAND OF BROTHERS  M F Poon  (V)

Had nice run in 1,1 throughout. Continued close at the 300m mark before failing to go with the first couple in final 250m. Ran well to be only 3L being in midfield first-up.
6NOT USUAL TALENT  K Teetan  (TT)

Missed the start be a couple of lengths & consequently raced last. Continued at the back, 4L from the lead entering last section before closing off well in the last furlong to be closest at the line when beaten 3.5L.
7WIND N GRASS  M L Yeung  (TT)

Raced in midfield away from rail throughout. Eased three wide near the 550m mark, entered last section under 2L from the lead before giving some ground when weakening to midfield.

8IGNITING  D Moor  (TT)

Had a nice run on leaders back throughout. Was held up & steadied away from heels passing 400m mark before giving a few lengths in final 250m & not proving a threat.

9WILL POWER  B Shinn  (XB)

Steadied & raced second last between runners. Shifted wider just prior to straightening, entered last section 4L from the lead & made no real headway, being beaten a similar margin on line.

10WINNING DREAMER  C Y Ho  (TT)

Drifted back but was caught 3 wide at the rear. Improved position when continuing wide in middle stages, widest on straightening when about 3L behind before weakening in straight to be second last.
11BUDDIES  C L Chau  (H)

Pushed forward to lead. Headed in the lead soon after straightening before weakening poorly to be last.
