Recovered steadily from moderate start to join the leaders, taken one back to joint 3rd coming onto home bend, angled out for a run entering straight, held every chance inside the 300 metres but quickly worn down 150 metres out.

Taken back to last few for rails run, gained closer to 10th over 5L back rounding home bend, fought on steadily in straight without threatening.

Began well from a wide gate but soon taken back towards the rear, made steady progress to midfield 3-wide coming onto home bend, carried wider into straight, ran on to be nearest at finish.

Settled 3-wide without cover in forward of midfield, gained closer rounding home bend, fought on steadily to be nearest at finish.

Broke well but gradually taken back 4-wide without cover, became 11th some 6L off the pace 3-wide rounding home bend, improving steadily when baulked 100 metres out, fought on to the line.

Soon taken back from a wide gate, trailed the field most of the way to home straight, saved ground turning in, made steady headway under pressure along the rail until over 50 metres out.

Settled just over 2L off the pace in 5th , awkward behind runners and drifted off the rail coming onto home bend, looked struggling under pressure approaching home turn, weakened in straight.

Soon took up running out wide, attempted to shift back for cover approaching home bend, settled for 2-wide position outside leader, disputed lead on straightening but unable to sustain effort 200 metres out.

Soon join the leaders, took up running passing the 1100 metres, raced keenly in front rounding home bend, folded up quickly inside final 200 metres.

Ridden from towards rear passing the 1250 metres to forward of midfield in 7th about 3L off pace on the rail, saved ground turning in, folded up quickly inside final 200 metres.
