Showed good speed to lead when racing one horse away from stand side rail. Asked for full effort near 200m mark & drew away in late stages to win by over a length.

Showed early pace to race on the speed along stand side rail, under 1L from lead throughout. Asked to chase leader 250m mark, closed off well but founder leader/winner just too strong late.
3GLENEALY GENERALS  B Shinn  (B2)

Raced in midfield between runners throughout. Entered last section under 2L behind before closing off steadily in late stages to move to third inside final 50m.

4JOYFUL WIN  C L Chau  (B)

Showed early speed to race second only a neck behind lead. Continued on speed in middles stages until being unable to go with winner in final 150m & being caught for third late. Not beaten far.
5CARRY THE DIAMOND  T Piccone  (PC)

Showed some speed to improve & race forward of midfield early before moving closer at half-way & entering last section only a half-length from the lead. Battled on ok before peaking in late stages.
6GOODMANSHIP  H Bentley  (B)

Shifted inwards at start before getting good position in midfield when racing on leaders back. Entered last section only 1.5L from lead before finishing off evenly to midfield without threatening.

7ISLAND SUNSHINE  V Borges  (PC)

Steadied after the start & raced in midfield throughout. Hard ridden approaching 400m mark when about 3L form the lead before finishing off evenly to hold midfield finish without threatening.
8YOUNG VICTORY  C Y Ho  (TT)

Badly unbalanced after start & consequently raced rearward throughout. Entered last section over 4L behind, began making steady progress before shifting inwards 125m before held up in concluding stages when closing late.
9EVER JOY  K C Leung  (XB)

Began awkwardly before being steadied to race in midfield. Entered last section just over 3L from lead before holding midfield without making any headway in dash to line.
10GREEN ENVY  K Teetan  (V/TT)

Crowded at start & consequently failed to muster any early speed & raced a clear last early. Shifted towards center of track mid-race & passed a few rivals approaching half-way before making no further ground in last section.
11RAGING BLAZE  J Moreira  (P/TT)

Badly crowded for room between horses on jumping before shifting to stand side rail & racing near the tail. Continued near the back, over 5L from the lead entering last section before weakening to be beaten 10L.
12REGENCY STAR  M F Poon  (B1)

Bumped & unbalanced at start before mustering speed quickly to race only half-length from lead in early stages. Came under hard riding & began yielding ground from half-way before weakening badly in last section. Well beaten.
13GLORIOUS BAUHINIA  H W Lai

Began only fairly before being crowded after start & consequently raced rearward throughout. Relegated to last mid-race before weakening poorly in last section to be long second last. (Painful tendon next day).
14DIVINE ERA  N Callan  (H-)

Began awkwardly, bumped & unbalanced before improving to race in midfield near to center of track. Ridden along passing half-way, entered last section just over 3L from lead before weakening out poorly to be long last.
