Prominent before being crossed & behind leading duo. Raced keenly & shifted ground around first bend before racing tight when near heals on straightening. Hung inwards when closing off well before narrowly beaten on line.

Raced wide when between runners in midfield before becoming keen, & being tightened & checked near half-way. Entered last section 3.5L from the lead before closing strongly to be narrowly beaten with legitimate excuse.
