Chased leaders, in 4th making the turn for home, closed off strongly final 150M to asset close home.

Began fairly, strode forward to take the lead passing 900M, 2L in front at 400M, fought on well to line, headed by winner 50M.

Crowded for room at start, reserved behind midfield, 6Ls behind leader at 400M, swung wide into straight but had to shift back to inner for clear running, closed off well but held by first 2.

Took up early running before taking a trailing position 700M, tried hard in straight but always held by first 2, missed out on 3rd narrowly.

Settled 3-wide midfield 4Ls off the pace, wide into straight, stayed on moderately to the line.

Held up 2-wide behind midfield, driven along nearing 400M, closed off mildly, no serious threat to first 2.

Failed to show anticipated early speed, took up a midfield position along the fence, raced keenly 1000M, hampered near 500M, ran on same pace in straight, never in contention.
