1MASTER MONTARO  C Y Ho  (B-/XB-/CP1)

Settled just worse than midfield off the rails, came to challenge inside final 400 metres and quickened well to take charge 100 metres out.

2HORSESAIN BOLT  M L Yeung  (B/XB)

Taken back from a wide gate for rails run, improved steadily on home bend to reach 8th some 3L back 400 metres out, baulked early in straight, produced good late finish inside final 120 metres.

3GREAT TREASURE  H N Wong

Soon taken well back and waited with, trailed the field to the 500 metres, came to challenge inside final 400 metres, ran on well to be nearest at finish.

4INVINCIBLE MISSILE  Z Purton  (B/TT)

Ridden early, settled just over 3L back in 8th on the rail, slightly closer in 7th rounding home bend, had difficulty getting a clear run early in straight, fought on under pressure to hold every chance over 100 metres out.

5THE CROWN  C Soumillon  (H-)

Taken back to last few from a wide gate, remained in similar position to home straight, did not find much room behind runners until late in the closing stages, finished off the race well.

6HIGHLY PROACTIVE  A Badel  (H/P/TT)

7TRUE LEGEND  M F Poon  (B)

Ridden forward to first few, drifted slightly backward to 5th while travelling 3-wide round home bend, kept on well without making any serious impression in the run to the line.

10TELECOM CHEETAH  V Borges  (P/TT)

Slightly slow out, niggled along in last few on the rails, last turning into home straight, kept on at the one pace without threatening.

11BEAUTY LEGACY  B Shinn  (TT)

Travelled mainly in one-out-one-back position and keenly in early stages, held some chance upon straightening but dropped out tamely inside final 200 metres.

12YO BEAUTY  N Callan  (TT1)
