Settled in midfield, commenced move rounding home bend, tight between runners when about 2L 5th on straightening, quickened well to hit the front 150 metres out, just held off runner-up's late rally.

Settled just better midfield on the rail, commenced move rounding home bend, fought on gamely to just fail to get up on line.

3V CHEVALIERS  A Badel  (H/TT)

Moderate start, settled in midfield, became closer to pace rounding home bend, ran on well in straight to be nearest at finish.
4SURE WIN WIN  K C Leung

Settled in 4th mainly about 2L off the lead in back straight, commenced move to gain closer passing the 600 metres, 3 wide rounding home bend, kept on same pace without quickening under pressure in straight.

5PERFECT TO PLAY  C Y Ho  (XB)

Jumped awkwardly losing ground, settled in worse than midfield, made up good late ground inside final 200 metres.

Niggled at early, settled just over 1L back in 2nd in back straight, came to take up running approaching home turn, unable to sustain effort inside final 150 metres.

Recovered from a moderate start to lead passing winning post the first time, maintained a clear in most of back straight, headed passing the 500 metres and folded up quickly inside the 200 metres.

Settled in last few, saved ground on the inside turning in, went past well-beaten horses in home straight.

Broke well from a low draw, travelled not far off in 3rd on the rail, carried backward slightly when race leader lost advantage coming out of back straight, found nothing after straightening.

Settled in last from the widest gate, commenced move coming onto home bend and went very wide into straight, never recovered.
