Broke well settling within 3L of pace in 5th, became slightly further back rounding home bend, commenced move to be closer up and 4-wide into straight, quickened well to assert authority over 200 metres out, won cosily.

Ridden forward for one back position, became 3rd over 1000 metres out and remained 2 wide home bend, in similar position entering straight, held some chance under pressure until outsprinted by the winner over 200 metres out.

Soon obtained rails run after moderate start, pulled his way forward to within 3L of steadying pace in 6th 1000 metres out, remained keen home bend and on heels after straightening, found daylight 200 metres out and ran on.

Slightly slow out from a wide gate settling towards the rear on the rail, angled out for a run on straightening obtaining clear run 350 metres out, ran on steadily to be nearest at finish.

Began well before taken back to midfield 3-wide without cover, went wider entering home straight, kept on steadily under pressure without quickening.

Settled in midfield in 7th or 8th, travelling keenly when checked from heels and lost about a length over 1000 metres out, went wide for a run entering straight, fought on steadily for a nice impression closing stages.
