Had good position in midfield between runners throughout early & middle stages. Eased wider into clear running on cornering before dashing to lead approaching the 300m & drawing away for easy win in concluding stages.

2DECISIVE ACTION  Z Purton  (TT)

Steadied after start & shifted back to race second last away from rail. Shifted the widest in the straight when 5.5L from lead before closing very strongly to charge to fast finishing second inside last 100m.

3SEAWEED FORTUNE  C Y Ho  (CP/TT)

Not bustled after start before getting good position in midfield between runners. Drifted slightly further back in second section when racing over 6L from lead at 800m. Made steady ground to well beaten third in late stages.

4INDIGENOUS STAR  B Shinn  (TT)

Drifted back after start to race third last on rail. Continued along inside, 7L from lead passing 800m. Improved along rail nearing corner, 3L from lead entering last section before make some gradual headway in late stages.

5KUNGFUMASTER PANDA  K C Leung  (B1/TT)

Improved steadily after start to race midfield on rail. Continued economical run when 5L from lead at 800m. Shifted away from inside on cornering, shifted out further at 300m before finishing steadily in late stages.

6PRETTY BAUHINIA  H T Mo  (B-)

Ridden with whip after start to race prominently before being left three wide without cover, 2L from lead from the 1000m mark. Hard ridden when forced wider by winner on bend, before battling away to hold midfield position.

Began well before being crossed & getting good run on leaders back throughout. Moved wider on cornering, entered last section a length from lead before offering no more in final 150m & yielding a length or two thereafter.

Began well before being steadied & racing in midfield, three wide with cover before being left without cover from 800m. Shifted the widest runner when hard ridden on cornering before finishing only moderately to midfield.

9HAPPY WIN WIN  A Badel  (TT)

Shifted behind runners from widest barrier & raced worse than midfield, wide but with cover. Ridden along on turn, second widest entering last section when 5L from lead. Steadied near 250m but was never a genuine threat.

10METHANE  N Callan  (CP)

Enjoyed economical run in midfield on rail throughout early & middle stages. Improved closer to lead along rail nearing bend, entered last section only 1.5L from lead before weakening out in last 300m to be over 6L behind.

Ridden forward after start to race prominently before shifting in to race outside the leader by the 1000m. Hard ridden on straightening before emptying out at the 300m mark & weakening meekly thereafter.

12SALTO OLIMPICO  H N Wong  (B)

Shifted back behind runners after start to race at the tail. Continued at the back, 9L from lead passing the 800m. Stayed close to the inside in straight but made no real headway & was well beaten.

13LEADING FORTUNE  M Chadwick  (E-/B)

Bumped & unbalanced at start before mustering speed to race midfield between runners. Continued in midfield approaching turn before offering little in last section & weakening poorly in concluding stages to be second last.

14ALLOY STAR  C Schofield  (B)

Bumped & unbalanced at start before mustering speed quickly to dahs to lead after 100m. Held lead until being joined by the winner approaching the 300m before weakening badly in concluding stages to be long last.
